- Lake Michigan Conference
The Lake Michigan Conference (or LMC) was an intercollegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA’s
Division III . Member institutions were all located in the State ofWisconsin except Dominican University. LMC schools joined with some schools from theNorthern Illinois-Iowa Conference in 2006-07, creating theNorthern Athletics Conference . The conference was formed as the Wisconsin Conference of Independent Colleges (WCIC) in 1974 with nine charter members.The Charter Members
