Pagis is 1.81 m tall and weighs 81 kg. His nickname is "Pagistral", based on his name, the French word "Magistral" (brilliant), and also the name of a famous wind and writer in Marseille "Mistral". A firm favourite at Strasbourg, he scored many goals and was the clubs' top goal scorer in the 2004-05 season.
The brightest moment of his career came in a game against the defending champions Olympique Lyonnais on October 5, 2008, when he scored a hat trick.
