Somerset is a town in Windham County,
Vermont ,United States . As of the 2000 census, the town had a totalpopulation of 5. Somerset is one of two Vermont towns where the population levels have dropped so low that the town has been unincorporated. The town disincorporated in 1937. The town has no local government and the town's affairs are handled by a state-appointed supervisor.Geography
