The Augusta Medical District (AMD) is a special-use zoning district located in
Augusta, Georgia , between Downtown and Summerville. The district is bounded to thenorth by Walton Way, to theeast by R.A. Dent Boulevard, to thewest by Heard Avenue, and to thesouth by Wrightsboro Road.Public housing within the area will be torn down so it will allow theMedical College of Georgia to expand.Impact
