Mario (fetish artist)

Mario (fetish artist)

Mario was a fetish artist who worked for a short period of time for Irving Klaw's Movie Star News company.

He drew two complete serials for Klaw -- "Captives of the Scientists" (1954) and "Prisoners of the Inquisition" (1955) -- and an unfinished piece called "Rubber Queen's Captives" (1957). All three stories were reprinted in their entirety in Belier Press's Bizarre Comix #6.

Unlike his contemporaries Eric Stanton and Gene Bilbrew, very little biographical information is known about Mario.
