Film production
"Raman Effect" is a directing debut for Hareesh Narayan & Krishna Sekar. Film deadline was 100 days but due to the heavy plot and more research was to be done in the script it took totally 180 days to complete the film's first copy. Third Eye Dreams Entertainment includes 5 members in the company producers namely Raghunathan Ekambaram, Dhananchezhian, Sathish, Hareesh Narayan & Parthasarathy. First session of shooting was held in coimbatore during the end of october month & the beginning of November month 2007. The duration between first session & second session was really quite large due to the case study work.
Documentary Hosting was shot with the help of Green Matt & it was converted with a black background graphics work. This could have done with a dark room but to bring a different mystery feel it was keyed using green matt. This process really ate most of the production hours as it has to be different than shooting in dark room effect.
Coimbatore shotting were done in GD Trust coimbatore, Madukkarai ACC Cement Factory Coimbatore, Ukkadam Bus stand, etc. And all the other shots included places in & around Chennai like Velacherry, Perambur, Kolathur, Nungambakkam, Pattabiram, Villivakkam, etc...
