Christine Pountney

Christine Pountney

Christine Pountney (born 1971) is a Canadian author.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Pountney grew up in Montreal, Quebec. She lived for six years in London, England.

Pountney now lives in Toronto, Ontario. She teaches creative writing at the University of Toronto.

Awards and recognition

  • Last Chance Texaco was long-listed for the Orange Prize in 2000.
