Mount Kibal'chich (71°56′S 14°19′E / 71.933°S 14.317°ECoordinates: 71°56′S 14°19′E / 71.933°S 14.317°E) is the highest peak, 2,500 m, of the Kvaevenutane Peaks, in the Payer Mountains of Queen Maud Land. Discovered and plotted from air photos by German Antarctic Expedition, 1938-39. Mapped from air photos and surveys by Norwegian Antarctic Expedition, 1956–60; remapped by Soviet Antarctic Expedition, 1960–61, and named after the Russian revolutionary N.I. Kibal'chich, 1854-81.
