Ivory Tower (Antarctica)

Ivory Tower (Antarctica)

Ivory Tower (coord|85|28|S|142|24|W|) is a small peak rising to about 800 m, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) east of Fadden Peak, between Harold Byrd Mountains and Bender Mountains. The peak was visited by a United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP)-Arizona State University geological party, 1977-78, and so named from its composition of nearly all white marble.
