Mount Izabelle (coord|72|10|S|66|30|E|) is a bare rock
mountain standing 12 miles (19 km) southwest ofShaw Massif in thePrince Charles Mountains . Discovered from an ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions ) Beaver aircraft onNovember 28 ,1956 , while engaged in aerial photography. Named byAntarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for B. Izabelle, weather observer atMawson Station in 1957.
