Kachiguda is one of the old suburbs in Hyderabad, India. It has the third biggest railway station in Hyderabad called as Kachiguda Railway Station built during the Nizam rule.

There is also a major Police Station in this suburb.

Commercial area

The choice for shops at Kachiguda is very good. This has emerged into a major garment hub for bargain hunters.

This suburb is a major hub for cinema theaters like Maheswari 70 mm & Parameshwari 35 mm (which is now being constructed into a multiplex), Tarakarama 70mm, Venkataramana 70 mm, Padmavati 35 mm and Kumar 70mm here. It is also home to a popular hotel, Tourist Hotel, which was recently rebuilt.

A popular udupi restaurant Shanbhag, a popular bakery Master Bakers are located here. It is also home to a youth hotel Vysya Hostel.

Transport

Kachiguda is connected by buses run by APSRTC, since a Bus Depot is located here, it is well connected. Buses that run are 89.
