Henry Nyambe Mulenga (born 27 August 1987 in Chingola) is a Zambian footballer who currently plays in defence for ZESCO United F.C. in the Zambian Premier League.

Mulenga was part of the Zambian U-20 side which made the quarterfinals of the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada.[1] He is a physical central defender, supported by the notion he was suspended for two of the four games Zambian played in the tournament, due to red card accumulation.[2]

Domestically, the 2007 season saw him score three times for his club, despite missing 6 weeks on international duty. Following the relegation of his club, Forest Rangers, in 2007, he signed on with ZESCO United F.C. for the 2008 season.

Mulenga was called-up for the first time, to the national team as a late replacement for the first World Cup Qualifying match against Togo on May 31, 2008. A week later, he got his first international cap in a qualifying match against Swaziland as a substitute. The next match, Mulenga earned his first start in a 1-0 home win against the same team.

Nyambe Mulenga featured prominently in Zambia's stunning World Cup qualifying draw away to Egypt, holding the defending African champions to a single goal at home. Mulenga was reunited at centre-back with former U-20 compatriot Dennis Banda.

A knee injury in a friendly match versus Ghana in August 2009 kept Nyambe out of action for 6 months. After successful surgery on his ACL in India, he completed physiotherapy and regained his place in the Chipolopolo starting XI.
