David Lee is an American television producer, director and screenwriter. He was a writer and producer for the American sitcoms The Jeffersons and Cheers, as well as being a co-creator, writer and director for Wings and Frasier. At the funeral of his partner, David Angell, he was one of the three producers who delivered the eulogy, using the word "boinking" as a euphemism for sex on Cheers. He cited this as an example of comedic contributions he made.
