Abdullah al-Janabi

The former Sunni chief of the Mujahideen Shura Council in Fallujah, Iraq, Abdullah al-Janabi (b. ~1951 [ [http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn/A58037-2004Dec11?language=printer washingtonpost.com: Iraqi Fighters Keep Up Attacks ] ] ) gained power following his aid in the insurgency's victory at the First Battle of Fallujah.

He was present at the eventual loss at the Second Battle of Fallujah, but evaded American forces.
