75th Street-Grand Crossing Station is an electrified commuter rail station along the Metra Electric Main Line in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood of the City of Chicago, Illinois. It is located at and over both 75th Street and South Chicago Avenue, and is mi to km|9.32 away from the northern terminus at Randolph Street Station. 75th Street Station is the first station along the main branch of the Metra Electric line that does not include service for the South Chicago Branch. The station and the neighborhood that surrounds it were named after an 1853 right-of-way feud between the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railway and the Illinois Central Railroad. By 1912, many of these crossing were eliminated, and has even included a crossing with the Chicago Skyway since 1958. As of 2008, these lines are owned by Metra, Canadian National Railway, and Norfolk Southern Railway. No parking is available for this station, however the Chicago Transit Authority does provide bus service here.
