Andrew E. 'Andy' Dinniman is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State Senate who has represented the 19th District since May 2006.

Career

Prior to his Senate service, Dinniman was a county commissioner for Chester County, Pennsylvania. After the death of Senator Robert "Bob" Thompson, Dinniman ran in a special election against fellow county commissioner, Carole Aichele. He will face Republican Steve Kantrowitz in his bid for re-election in the fall general election.
