Together Dating/The Right One is one of the few bricks and mortar dating companies left since the influx of online dating. However, they are widely successful. Unlike most dating sites, they do check their clients’ criminal background records and divorce decrees.

History

Together Dating first started off in 1974 in upstate New York. By 1997, the organization had grown to about 150 locations worldwide. However, the owner did not deal with PR and customer service issues, and the company ended up having to file for bankruptcy. In 1999, the creditors awarded the assets of the company to Brad Megahan. They offered a 50/50 partnership to Paul Falzone of The Right One and the two companies merged. Latter becoming a franchised owned prmaraly by Winslow and Carol Scott for 25 years
