Sega in1998 , and ported in the following year to theDreamcast console (soon after theEurope an and American launches) and the PC system. It is a sequel to "Sega Rally ".The game added many new vehicles, new environment settings for the circuits (including
snow y tracks and a course set on anisland ), as well as including multiple circuits in each environment type (the first game only featured one in each). An updated version of the original game'sDesert track was also included.The Dreamcast and PC versions of the game also included the gruelling "10-year championship" mode.
The game was powered by the

With the addition of a 10 Year Championship and gruelling driving conditions through mud, deserts, blizzards, night time and many more. Choose from a multitude of world famous rally cars on 17 challenging courses. Upload your best times to the internet or view the high score tables."
The courses featured in the game include:
*Desert - based on the Sahara Desert
*Mountain - based on the mountains of Corsica
*Snowy - based on the snowy forests of Sweden
*Riviera - based on the Riviera front in Monte Carlo
*Muddy - based on the hot, muddy jungles of Indonesia
*Isle - based on the castles of CataloniaAs expected, the Toyota Celica GT-4 ST-205 and Lancia Delta HF Integrale from the original game appear in this game again, this time with newer Toyota and Lancia cars, as well as cars from Mitsubishi, Subaru, Fiat, Peugeot, Renault, and Ford (which is not available in the North American copy of the Dreamcast game).
