Hetland is a town in Kingsbury County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 43 at the 2000 census.

Geography

Hetland is located at coor dms|44|22|36|N|97|14|4|W|city (44.376595, -97.234449)GR|1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²), all of it land.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 43 people, 18 households, and 10 families residing in the town. The population density was 374.7 people per square mile (150.9/km²). There were 21 housing units at an average density of 183.0/sq mi (73.7/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White.
