In the entire district Neumarkt is only the third most populated town afterLaives andEppan , they are agglomerated to the capital cityBolzano .The town is situated on the plain (214 m), on the left side of the
Adige river, 25 km south of Bolzano.Neumarkt is a town with a lot of services, offices, shops, supermarkets, bus and rail station and a motorway exit.Neumarkt was a Roman village on the Claudia Augusta road it was called "Endidae". The sightseeing include the old Roman house, the arcades of the old town, the parish church, the Local Culture Museum, the church of Vill.
