S.F.X

S.F.X. was Fox's high school band, which featured Zac Starr, Ringo Starr's son on drums, and Fox on vocals. S.F.X. released two singles with Lamborghini records. Both singles were re-released as Samantha Fox singles in 1986 on Genie records, after the success of Fox's 'Touch Me' album.

After her first album went gold, Samantha returned to the studio to release her self-titled album. She enlisted help from producers and music group Full Force to produce some of her songs of the album, who was helping with Lisa Lisa at that time. This album combines rock with freestyle and pop. She scored hits with Naughty Girls (Need Love Too), Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now, a cover version of the Stones' (I Can't Get) No Satisfaction, True Devotion, her first ballad song, and the heavy hitting I Surrender.

"Just One Night"

"Just One Night" is the fourth release by Samantha Fox. For this 1991 album, she once again enlisted Full Force to produce her album and Robert Clivillés & David Cole of C+C Music Factory fame. However, this album was unsuccessful to many of the critics. The first singel, "(Hurt Me! Hurt Me!) But the Pants Stay On" got some radio airplay but failed to receive much attention, with the same outcome with the album's second single, "Another Woman (Too Many People)." The third single, the title track, not surprisingly got any attention at all. This was the last album of Samantha Fox with Jive Records and working with Full Force. Chart position: Canada #53

After a six year hiatus, Samantha returned to the studio to record her fifth album, 21st Century Fox. She had a new look and a new style in music. Her first single released was "Deeper". That single was unsuccessful, though receiving a lot of airplay. She released her second single "Let Me Be Free", which made a comeback for her. However the original version of the video was banned because of nudity by Samantha. Further singles were "Reason Is You" and "Perhaps". This album focussed on the dance genre. The Album was a big hit in clubs around Europe.
