West Rockhampton is a suburban area of Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia situated about six kilometres north-west of the central business district. At the 2006 census, West Rockhampton had a population of 1,457.[Census 2006 AUS]

Crescent Lagoon, the local primary school, was established around 1896, and was moved to its current location in 1932 and the Rockhampton Grammar School, which was built in Agnes Street in 1883. The Rockhampton Grammar School is the oldest school in Rockhampton.
West Rockhampton is also the location of the Rockhampton Airport, the Rockhampton Base Hospital and the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens.
