W.H. Ruffner Academy

W.H. Ruffner Academy is a middle school governed by Norfolk Public Schools. It was built "before" 1942.

Dress Code

The children that attend must wear a uniform. The uniform colors are
**6th Graders wear light blue.
**7th Graders wear yellow.
**8th Graders wear white.Shoes must be a specific color:
**White
**Black
**Navy Blue
**Black/White
**Black/Navy
**White/Navy
**Dress Shoes

All students must wear Navy Blue pants, skirts, or skorts. No spandex or leather is allowed. The students have two uniforms. They can wear the winter uniform (long sleeved shirt, tie, navy pants) all year, or wear the summer uniform (polo shirt, navy pants, skirt, short, or skort)starting May 1.
