(2002)"I Never Said That I Was Brave" is an EP by Philadelphia-based
indie rock bandMewithoutYou , as well as their first-ever recording. It was released on the smallKickstart Audio label in early 2001, and has since been out-of-print.The five songs feature the band at its hardest sounding, with frontman Aaron Weiss screaming instead of the singing-speaking hybrid he is known for today. Two tracks ("I Never Said That I Was Brave" and "We Know Who Our Enemies Are") were later re-recorded for the band's subsequent album, " [A to B: Life| [A to B] Life] "; the sequel to "Four Word Letter" appears on "
