monadnock located in south-centralNew Hampshire within theWapack Range of mountains. It lies within the town of New Ipswich and is traversed by the convert|22|mi|km|abbr=onWapack Trail . The subordinate peak, Stony Top, convert|1760|ft|m, forms the north shoulder of the mountain. Pratt Mountain offers expansive views from rocky ledges along its length.New Ipswich Mountain is located directly to the north along the Wapack ridgeline; to the southeast rise Binny Hill convert|1441|ft|m, Emerson Hill convert|1551|ft|m, Nutting Hill convert|1620|ft|m, andMount Watatic , the southern terminus of the Wapack Range.The east side of the mountain drains into the
