Enola sprang into existence with the building of the rail lines that run through the town. The name "Enola" comes from the name of a farm owner's four-year-old twin daughters, Tina and Olivia. The man, Wesley Miller, sold land to the Pennsylvania Railroad and was given the honor of naming the train station. The name "Enola" came from the girls' teddy bear. The teddy bear is said to be found burried beneath Shaffers field. Legend has it Tina and Olivia can be seen at night looking for their lost teddy. There are reports of two boys (Andrew Chan and Zack Buecher) attempting to locate the ghosts of these amazing girls. They call themselves ghost busters and they will not stop until they find them... so they say. Eventually, the local post office and the surrounding town also adopted the name.
