Morcenx is a commune in the Landes department in Aquitaine in south-western France.
Geography
Commune situated in the grande-Lande in the Landes forest (forêt des Landes) on the Bez.
Access by the A63 freeway, exit 14 Onesse-et-Laharie.History
Morcenx area, bordured with the Bez and it affluents, seems to have been occupied since the Prehistoric time. Have been found there silex tools, domestic fournitures and a cinerary box from the 1st Iron Age.
