Dragan is a male name derived from the Slavic element "dorogo" or precious (Serbo-Croatian: Drago). It is a predominantly Serbian name but also popular among Croatians, Macedonians and Bulgarians.[1] It was the fifth most popular male name in the Republic of Macedonia in 2006.[2]
