In the year 2002 he had his first performance as a singer on Đurđevdansko festival, Banjaluka, that is the most reputable Children's Festival in Banjaluka and Republika Srpska. He won 3rd place on that Festival.
In the next period, he is preparing his first solo album cooperating with well-known local artists like Miroslav Janjanin from the band Viteški ples. Album was published in 2003 and it is called "Miris ljubavi" ("Smell of Love"). Some songs from album have got their videos.
In 2003, well-known composer and songwriter from Zagreb, Zrinko Tutić did a music and lyrics for Dragan's song "Oči u oči" ("Eyes in eyes"), for which Dragan was awarded like Teen Discovery of Year on the events Oskar popularnosti in Banjaluka and Zlatni mikrofon in Sarajevo. Song is followed by video that directed well-known video-director from Serbia, Nešo Ye.
In 2004 Dragan is recording the single "Jedina" ("The Only One").
In 2006 Dragan is competing on the festival Prvi aplauz in Banja Luka with the song "Daljine" ("Distances") by late Serbian author Duško Trifunović. The song received the award for the best lyrics on that festival, and Dragan received the 2nd award of audience. Dragan competed on Prvi aplauz in 2007 also, with the song "Cesta maštanja" ("Road of Fantasies") by Mirna Savić-Banjac.
