(2004)"Cherry Blossom Girl" is an electronica song written by Air for their 2004 album Talkie Walkie. The song is the album's second track, and was released as its first single. Written in C-sharp minor, it opens up with bowed vibraphone, drum machines, and fingerpicked acoustic guitar, which are soon joined by synthesizers and notably a shakuhachi. Sung by Jean-Benoît Dunckel, the lyrics depict shy love.
