Timmins (electoral district)

Timmins was a federal electoral district represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1949 to 1979. It was located around the city of Timmins in the northeastern part of the province of Ontario. This riding was created in 1947 from parts of Cochrane and Timiskaming ridings.

It consisted of portions of the territorial districts of Timiskaming and Cochrane.

The electoral district was abolished in 1976 when it was redistributed between Timiskaming and Timmins—Chapleau ridings.
