Chandrasekhar Madhavan Nair ( _ml. ചന്ദ്രശേഖര് മാധവന് നായര്), known as Chandra Nair is an Assistant Professor of
Information Engineering at theChinese University of Hong Kong . He is a native ofThiruvananthapuram in the Indian state ofKerala .Research

Education
Prof. Nair's early education was in
Loyola School, Thiruvananthapuram , where he studied fromkindergarten to standard twelve. In 1994, as a standard eleven student, he won the first place in theIndian National Mathematics Olympiad . Nair] ] In 1995, he graduated from Loyola at the top of his class in theIndian School Certificate examination. Immediately afterwards, he gained admission for the B.Tech. program inElectrical Engineering at IIT Madras, after being ranked 109 in the IIT-JEE. In 1999, he graduated at the top of his class, winning the Siemens and Philips India Prize in the process. In 2002, Prof. Nair graduated fromStanford University with a MS degree inElectrical Engineering , and followed that up with a Ph.D. in the same discpiline from the same university in 2005.References
