As of the
census GR|2 of 2000, there were 318 people, 111 households, and 86 families residing in the borough. Thepopulation density was 400.0 people per square mile (153.5/km²). There were 120 housing units at an average density of 150.9/sq mi (57.9/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 99.06% White and 0.94% Native American.There were 111 households out of which 41.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.6% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.5% were non-families. 18.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.86 and the average family size was 3.31.
In the borough the population was spread out with 31.1% under the age of 18, 10.1% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 19.5% from 45 to 64, and 11.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 89.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.8 males.
