Jerry Horton, his brother Chad and his parents moved in 1982 to
Vacaville where he attendedVanden High School . He first heard ofPapa Roach through an ex-girlfriend. He started playing guitar when he was 14 years using a whiteEpiphone Stratocaster. He listened to bands such asMetallica ,Slayer ,Sepultura ,Nine Inch Nails , and Ministry. Shortly after the foundation of Papa Roach byJacoby Shaddix ,Dave Buckner ,Will James andBen Luther in 1993, Jerry joined the band as its first guitarist. Jerry worked from time to time as a roofer or as a sales clerk. He has also never drank, smoked, or did drugs.He is married to former Playmate
