census GR|2 of 2000, there were 237 people, 89 households, and 63 families residing in the borough. Thepopulation density was 72.2 people per square mile (27.9/km²). There were 95 housing units at an average density of 29.0/sq mi (11.2/km²). The racial makeup of the borough was 100.00% White.There were 89 households out of which 32.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.1% were married couples living together, 13.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.2% were non-families. 25.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.21.
In the borough the population was spread out with 27.8% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 19.8% from 45 to 64, and 16.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 89.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.6 males.
