She originally went to college to be a lawyer but after taking an acting class in order to improve her courtroom performance she decided to quit school (while holding a 4.0 GPA) and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
Bobbie began landing television work immediately. Her first acting job was guest starring with Halle Berry on a short lived FOX comedy "They Came From Outer Space". She continued to land various roles in television and independent films ranging from comedies to starring in martial arts films with everyone from
Bolo Yeung ,Jalal Merhi ,Billy Blanks andDon "The Dragon" Wilson . Bobbie is a trainedmartial artist and performed most of her fighting and stunts in these films.She has appeared on popular television shows such as "The Hitchhiker", "
Stargate SG1 ", "The X-Files " (playing Dr. Bambi Berenbaum in the season 3 episode titled "War of the Coprophages"), "Married... with Children ", and "Baywatch ". She was a regular on the first season of "Murder One" which won a "People's Choice Award" in 1996 and has starred in a series of fairly popularmade-for-TV science-fiction movies, "Chameleon, Chameleon II: Death Match", and "Chameleon III: Dark Angel". She had a supporting role on "The Cape ". She won a "best guest actress" award for her appearance in the X-Files. She also stated, "As soon as it's not fun anymore, I'm outta here. I've had several friends kill themselves that had what the world calls success.
