Harrow East is a Harrow, London constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Boundaries

Traditionally a better area for the Labour Party than neighbouring Harrow West, the seat has still been mostly Conservative since the Second World War, but Labour did win here in landslide victories in 1945 and 1966. They won here again in 1997, and have held on in the two general elections since, a feat they didn't achieve in previous landslides.

Members of Parliament

* 1945 – 1950: Frederick Skinnard, Labour
* 1950 – 1959: Ian Harvey, Conservative
* 1959 – 1966: Anthony Courtney, Conservative
* 1966 – 1970: Roy Roebuck, Labour
* 1970 – 1997: Hugh Dykes, Conservative
