Forest of Dean is a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

It was created for 1885 general election to replace part of West Gloucestershire, and abolished for the 1950 election. It was re-established for the 1997 general election.

Boundaries

The constituency of Forest of Dean is coterminous with the Forest of Dean district in the county of Gloucestershire. Following boundary changes to be put in place from the next general election, parishes from the district of Tewkesbury are added to the Forest of Dean district, including the villages and communities of Forthampton, Chaceley Hole, Hasfield, Ashleworth,and Highnam.
