Luton South is a county constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post .

The constituency and its predecessors the Luton East and Luton constituencies have been called a Bellwether constituency; they have elected an MP from the winning party in each election since the 1951 general election.

Boundaries

Following their review when into parliamentary representation in Bedfordshire and Luton, the Boundary Commission for England made only minor changes to the existing constituencies.

Luton South will be made from electoral wards within the city of Luton, and also one ward from South Bedfordshire district:

*From Luton, the wards of Biscot, Crawley, Dallow, Farley, High Town, Round Green, South, Stopsley, Wigmore
*From South Bedfordshire, the one ward of Caddington, Hyde and Slip End
