Donald Barr

Donald Barr (b. August 8, 1921, Manhattan, New, York – d. February 5, 2004, Langhorne, Pennsylvania) was a US educator and author, who taught English at Columbia University, was headmaster at the Dalton School in New York City (1964–74), the Hackley School in Tarrytown, NY, and was the author of two science fiction novels.[1] He also worked as a book reviewer for The New York Times.[2]

Barr served in the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II. He and his wife Mary had four children, including Attorney General William P. Barr.[3]
