Szwadron 97 ( _en. "Troop 97", Polish analogue to the Troop) is Polish Rock Against Communism (RAC) band, which is credited as one of the most influential bands in Polish RAC movement. Szwadron's lyrics aren't typical for "World RAC scene" because they don't include any form of neo-Nazi or racist themes. However, all of the lyrics feature nationalist and some even anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist themes.

Foundation/History

Szwadron 97 was founded in November 8, 1997 in Ostrzeszów as a reaction to the "world without morality" and against the "enemies forces in fatherland".

Lyrics

Polish patriotism is the main influence of Szwadron's alignment and its lyrics. Szwadron's lyrics are common for Polish RAC - the social protest and patriotism - their main theme are ideas of (pre-Second Vatican Council) Roman Catholicism, Polish patriotism, nationalism, and Slavic unity.
