Brian Hayward (b.
June 25 , 1960 in Georgetown,Ontario ) is a former Canadian professionalice hockey goaltender and currentcolour analyst of theAnaheim Ducks .Hayward played for the
Winnipeg Jets ,Montreal Canadiens ,Minnesota North Stars andSan Jose Sharks in theNational Hockey League from 1982 to 1993. Brian won three William M. Jennings Trophies withPatrick Roy in the late 1980s with Montreal. He played US collegiate hockey atCornell University from 1978–1981.Brian currently resides in
California with his wife and daughter. He also occasionally works as a reporter or colour commentator for CBC'sHockey Night in Canada . Hayward has also called games for ABC,NBC ,ESPN andESPN2 . While atESPN He served as colour commentator for the2004 World Cup of Hockey and as a roving reporter during the1998 Stanley Cup Finals , where he interviewed PresidentBill Clinton during a game inWashington, D.C. While with NBC, he called games at the2006 Winter Olympics inTorino, Italy . He also co-hosts "Ducks on Ice" withBill Macdonald .External links
