KXL (750 AM, "NewsRadio 750 KXL") is a commercial broadcast radio station in Portland, Oregon. It is primarily a talk radio station; and also includes sports coverage. Its transmitter is located in Damascus. It is owned by Rose City Radio Corporation, which in turn is owned by billionaire and Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen.

The station also has a sister station, KXL-FM, on the FM band; that station was registered as KXJM and had a Rhythmic contemporary format March 26, 1999 until May 12, 2008, when it flipped formats to All Sports. The KXJM calls, Rhythmic format and all other intellectual properties were acquired by CBS Radio. KXL-FM is also owned by Rose City Radio Corporation.

Programming

Talk show hosts

KXL is the flagship station for nationally-syndicated talk show host Lars Larson. Other nationally-syndicated hosts carried by the station include Bill O'Reilly, Michael Savage, Brian Berger, and Bob Brinker. Locally-produced shows of note include Larson's nationally-syndicated show, a local talk show also hosted by Larson which focuses on local rather than national politics, and "The Bald Faced Truth", a sports talk show hosted by columnist John Canzano of "The Oregonian".

Sports

Prior to May 2008, KXL also included much sports content, and was the flagship station for Allen's Portland Trail Blazers NBA franchise, as well as the station which provided coverage of the University of Oregon Ducks athletic teams in the Portland area. As of now, however, sports-related programming is now hosted on KXL's sister station KXTG (95.5 FM), also owned by Allen, leaving KXL to focus on news and talk.cite web|url=http://www.radioink.com/HeadlineEntry.asp?hid=141973&pt=todaysnews|title=Portland Gets An FM Sports Station|date=2008-05-01|work=Radio Ink|accessdate=2008-05-07] .
