- Interclass dependence
In
statistics , interclass dependence (or class interdependence) means that the occurrence of one class is probabilistically dependent on other classes that may occur in the same space. Interclass dependence includes cross-correlation that may be described by cross-variogram . But cross veriogram is not sufficient to describe interclass dependence. Juxtaposition and directional asymmetry of spatial distribution of classes are also regarded as parts of interclass dependence. To better characterize interclass interdependence,W. Li suggests using transition diagrams.
