Jamal Najar Strong (born August 5, 1978 in Pasadena, California) is an outfielder for the Camden Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League.

Strong was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 6th round of the by|2000 amateur draft. Strong made his major league debut in by|2003 and was called up again in by|2005. Strong became a free agent after the 2005 season and signed with the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs released him on April 25, by|2006, and he signed with the [Atlanta Braves on April 28. The Braves released him on October 15, 2006, and he later signed with the New York Yankees in by|2007. After becoming a free agent after the 2007 season, Strong signed with the Long Island Ducks of the Atlantic League for by|2008. On June 6, the Ducks traded Strong to the Riversharks for pitcher Abe Alvarez.

On April 26, 2005, Strong became the fourth baseball player to be suspended for testing positive for illegal performance-enhancing drugs under Major League Baseball's new drug policy. He was suspended for 10 days without pay as the policy dictates for a first offense.
