Early life
He was born on 6th August 1890 in

He studied under
Asa Don Dickinson in 1915 at theUniversity of the Punjab .Career

Aligarh Muslim University ) in 1919. National Library of India ) in Calcutta, a post which he held for about 17 years. Indian Library Association
In 1933, he was one of the founding members of

Death
