- Victoria (Ontario electoral district)
Victoria was a federal electoral district represented in the Canadian House of Commons from 1904 to 1968. It was located in the province of
Ontario . This riding was first created in 1903 from parts ofPeterborough East ,Victoria North andVictoria South ridings.It was initially defined as consisting of the county of Victoria, and the provisional county of Haliburton. In 1947, it was expanded to include the townships of Rama, Mara, Thorah and Brock in the county of Ontario.
The electoral district was abolished in 1966 when it became part of
Victoria—Haliburton riding.Electoral history
