ZTE (Chinese：中兴通讯) (Zhong Xing Telecommunication Equipment Company Limited) Szse|000063 sehk|0763 is a global provider of telecommunications equipment and network solutions (GSM, CDMA, CDMA2000, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, FDD-LTE, TDD-LTE,IMS, NGN, PSTN, SDH, ADSL, IPTV, Value Added Services) based in Shenzhen, the People's Republic of China . ZTE was established in 1985 with ties to the People's Liberation Army. Its shares are publicly traded on both the Hong Kong and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges. ZTE is the biggest telecommunications enterprise in China.

ZTE corporate headquarters are located in Nanshan Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, with domestic R&D centers operating in LianTang/Shenzhen, Shanghai (GSM), Nanjing, Xi'an, Chongqing, Chengdu and Beijing (total fourteen worldwide R&D facilities). ZTE Corporation's full range of network products cover wireless, data, optical transport, switching, video conferencing, power supply, monitoring, etc. ZTE also provides solutions in narrowband, broadband, wired and wireless products, including a ZTE branded line of mobile handsets.
