Career
Club career
Jarun played college soccer for the University of Memphis and the University of Dayton, combining his studies with an amateur career in the PDL with teams such as Fort Wayne Fever and Chicago Fire Premier. Jarun graduated in 2006, turning professional that same year with the Atlanta Silverbacks, where he spent two seasons. Jarun spent the 2008 season with the Vancouver Whitecaps, before moving to Polish club Flota Świnoujście in January 2009. In January 2010 he moved to current club Pogoń Szczecin.[1] [2] He was released by Pogon on March 1, 2011.[3]
Jarun signed with FC Tampa Bay of the North American Soccer League on 29 March 2011.[4]
Jarun after brief spell with FC Tampa Bay, came back to Poland, signing contract with Arka Gdynia, under Petr Nemec, who was the manager that brought Jarun to Poland when he was the Flota Świnoujście manager.[5]
International career
Jarun earned his first cap for the Palestinian national side, in a FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Singapore in October 2007.[6] He earned a second cap in February 2011, in a friendly match against Tanzania.[7]
Personal
Born in in Kuwait City, Kuwait to Palestinian parents, Jarun was raised in Peachtree City, Georgia. He consequently holds Kuwaiti, Palestinian and American nationalities.[8]
