At around the same time, the company received their first defence contract from the Australian Defence Force, specialising in the Rolls-Royce 250.
In 2000, APA again relocated, this time moving into a A$3 million purpose built facility at
Pinkenba , adjacent to the International Airport at Brisbane. Two years later, the company's contract with the Australian military, and were given responsibility for the maintenance of GE T700 engines, as fitted toBlack Hawk ,Seahawk andSuper Seasprite helicopters.
